It's easy as 1-2-3 to get started taking advantage of the University of Minnesota Lifelong Learning offerings!

Step 1: Decide what you want to do
Maintain and improve your skills — Professional Development

Step 2: Browse the offerings on the site
Browse the listings and links for the professional development, personal enrichment and other offerings available from the University of Minnesota.

Step 3: Take action

  • For professional development and personal enrichment classes (non-credit) — Select the offering you want and click on the appropriate link to enroll. For many offerings you can enroll and pay directly online. For some classes, you will be given instructions on how to mail in or phone in your registration.
  • New degree seeking students — To start a new degree program or a degree completion program, follow the link to the program from the Lifelong Learning site and then email or call the program from the contact information on their web site.
  • Explore the free educational and library resources available online — These include recorded lectures, podcasts, and searchable library databases
